Key responsibilities for this position include:

- Writing geotechnical reports or sections of reports summarizing engineering analyses and design recommendations.

- Performing specialized geotechnical inspection and design duties during construction.

- Developing construction plans with assistance from technical draftsperson.

- Developing construction specifications and cost estimates.

- Working with senior staff to develop scopes of work and budget estimates.

The ideal candidate would possess the following attributes:

- Experience using geotechnical engineering software (e.g., GeoStudio Suite, FLAC, LPILE, MATLAB/Python).

- Experience collecting and analyzing data from geotechnical instrumentation (inclinometers, piezometers, etc.).

- Basic proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Microstation.

- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and apply new techniques/tools.

- Ability to work effectively in project development teams of 2 to 5 persons.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Willingness and ability to travel within the region as needed.

This is a full-time position. Salary will be negotiated based on the applicant's level of experience. The position includes the following benefits:

- Compensated time off or pay for work beyond 40 hours.

- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

- 401(k) plan with company contributions.

- 8 holidays per year.

- 17-22 days of paid time off per year, depending on years of experience.
