**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a skilled Glass Manufacturing Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Cast Tempering. The Glass Manufacturing Equipment Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our glass manufacturing and tempering equipment, with a primary focus on all glass edge and hand fabrication equipment.

**Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the glass drill and other machinery as needed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty parts to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in machinery technology to enhance operational efficiency.
- Keep shop functioning on electrical, air lines or any small shop related issues.

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a machinery mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals and blueprints.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
