Job Description:
The Data Engineer at Grand Circle LLC will spearhead the efforts in digital analytics and ensure the integrity and accessibility of data through robust data governance practices. Data Pipeline and Integration: Design and maintain sophisticated data pipelines for seamless data collection, integration, and processing, fostering a unified view of customer interactions.
Analytics and Business Intelligence: Utilize advanced BI tools to craft dynamic dashboards and reports, translating digital data and analytics into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the liaison between technical teams, marketing, and business stakeholders, ensuring data needs are met and analytics insights are actioned upon effectively.
Technology Leadership and Innovation: Stay ahead of trends in digital analytics, data governance technologies, and practices to continuously enhance our data ecosystem and analytics capabilities.
Digital Data Strategy and Collection: Architect and implement comprehensive digital analytics strategies to collect essential data across web and mobile platforms, ensuring quality and scalability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, with a focus on digital analytics and data governance.
Over 5 years of experience in analytics engineering with a significant emphasis on, analytics, data governance, and digital data collection.
Proficient in SQL, Python or R, and JavaScript.
Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality standards, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and best practices in data management.
Advanced Proficiency with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), tag management systems (Google Tag Manager, Tealium), and data governance platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead projects that enhance data-driven decision-making and compliance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
