Job Requirements Include:

  • Prepare and administer radio-pharmaceuticals or radiation to patients using radioisotope equipment under direction of physician.
  • Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and assist them during procedures.
  • Calculate, measure and record radiation dosage or radio-pharmaceuticals received, used and disposed, using computer and following physician’s prescription.
  • Collects and analyzes data, produces a computer-generated or film image for interpretation by a physician.
