TIG Welder

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPay: $22-28/hr Art foundry and workshop in Bastrop, TX is looking for welders who are open to learning new processes. We are looking for employees who are ready to learn on the job and contribute positively to the team. The job will require you to work with inorganic shapes and forms, so you must improvise your practices.
Job Duties: • Reading blueprints and drawings • Use TIG technique to join metal components • Ensure compliance with safety and PPE. • Inspecting completed pieces • Work with team members to plan and strategize
Requirements: • lift 50 lbs • Showcase responsibility and work semi-independently. • Respect for colleagues and upholding an inclusive work environment. • Some experience with TIG welding • Must follow and ensure safety guidelines. • Pass a pulmonary function test. • Experience welding organic forms or shapes encouraged to apply.
