The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the technology operations of the company, ensuring the implementation of efficient IT systems. This role involves managing IT projects, maintaining network security, and ensuring the optimal performance of technology infrastructure. The IT Manager will work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services. Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Security and Compliance: Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard company data and infrastructure. Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity threats and proactively address vulnerabilities.
• Project Management: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This includes hardware and software upgrades, system integrations, and technology enhancements.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT department's budget, optimizing costs and resource allocation while maintaining high-quality services.
• User Support: Oversee the helpdesk and end-user support functions, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and delivering exceptional customer service to employees.
• Strategic Planning: Work with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with the company's strategic objectives. Identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements and innovations.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the company's ability to recover from unexpected IT disruptions.
• Reporting and Documentation: Generate regular reports on IT performance, incidents, and system health. Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes and configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology
• Several years of experience in IT management roles.
• Strong technical knowledge in areas such as network administration, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development.
• Experience effectively managing multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proven experience in budget management and vendor relations.

Additional Information

• Work Hours: This position is a full-time role working a forty-hour week.
• Travel Requirements: This position will require no travel.
• Location: Physical office
• Mental/Physical Requirements: The work will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by video conference, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
