Catapult is assisting our member to hire a Senior Maintenance Technician in their Daytona Beach, Florida location. This organization is a leading manufacturing pioneer that provides printing solutions to thousands of customers around the globe.
The hours of the position are Monday through Friday 6am-2:30pm.
ABOUT THE JOB:
The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, and/or repairing all machinery and equipment throughout the facility to include electrical, HVAC, etc.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and fabricate parts needed for equipment.
- Design and fabricate guarding and other safety devices.
- Maintain preventive maintenance program throughout facility, to include eMaint software.
- Interface with supervisor/manager to schedule maintenance of equipment.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Support manufacturing engineering to include cost reductions as well as new equipment prep, install, and implementation.
- Interface with outside suppliers to troubleshoot and/or repair equipment.
- Always ensure a safe work area.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATION:

Education AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Strong mechanical background. Strong electrical background. At least 5 years Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent.
Other Skills And Abilities:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with co-workers, and to follow instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Superior troubleshooting skills
- Strong math skills
- Basic measurement skills (ruler, tape measure, calipers)
