Job Summary

Assistants are primarily responsible for assisting loan officers with borrowers’ applications and related clerical duties. They will maintain frequent contact with clients. This role must have a strong sense of urgency and great customer service skills. This position is located in our Hutchinson, KS branch.

Job Duties

  • Perform specific tasks assigned by the Branch Manager
  • Ensure files move through processing and closing in a timely manner
  • Establish appointments with clients
  • Make copies of important documents
  • Follow up with clients at all times, keeping them informed of the loan process
  • Systematically store and maintain client data and files
  • Properly prepare files for submission to processing
  • Efficiently perform a variety of research duties in support of the branch
  • Stay acquainted with assigned loan officer's daily schedule

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the mortgage industry preferred
  • 2(+) years of experience as an administrative/office assistant
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
