Role and Responsibilities:As a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray, you will be responsible for providing mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and various other locations. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submitting/transmitting them to a Radiologist for interpretation
  • Unloading portable X-Ray equipment and taking it into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians
  • Obtaining clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-Ray images
  • Performing EKGs (as needed) and transmitting them to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if required)
  • Scanning exam-related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol
  • Regularly communicating with dispatch and management
  • Efficiently communicating and professionally interacting with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
  • Maintaining the vehicle and X-Ray equipment

Candidate Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • A degree or diploma in Radiography or a related field
  • Valid certification/license as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a mobile X-Ray service
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment operation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required Skills:The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
  • Mobile X-Ray imaging
  • Portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment operation
  • EKG interpretation (if applicable)
