Position Title: Facilities Technician

Reports To: VP of Facilities Operations

Department: Facilities

Cost Center

Supervises Staff Yes/No: No


Responsibilities:

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

- Respond promptly and effectively to facility-related issues, such as equipment malfunctions, leaks, or power outages.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and implement timely and efficient solutions.

- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty equipment or components.

- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment or systems.

- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.

- Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or services.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Document all maintenance and repair activities, including any performed repairs or replacements.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or relevant trade school education is preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a facilities Technician or in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.

- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with a variety of systems and equipment.

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
