Auto Detailer-Porter

Dependable Automotive Detailer-Porter needed to join our Collision Center team at Sunset Cadillac of Bradenton.
The person in this vital position has a good eye and the hands-on skills to make sure we present our client's repaired vehicles and our facility looking our best.

Detailer-Porter Duties

As a collision center detailer, you will complete the collision repair process with the detail finish on all repaired vehicles. You will also assist in the operation of the collision center around the facility and with our clients. Your specific duties as an automotive porter/detailer will include:

• General housekeeping/maintenance around the facility to keep our us looking our best for our clients
• Pick up/drop off customers, parts, or vehicles as needed
• Back up detailer thoroughly cleaning exterior of vehicles for post-repair delivery to customers in accordance with dealership standards
• Detail and refresh interior vehicle upholstery, carpet, dash and control panels, etc.
• Clean windows, shine tires, etc. to ensure every detail on the vehicle looks amazing
• Other duties as required or as you learn

Body Shop Porter-Detailer Requirements

As an Automotive Porter/Detailer, you must be dependable and ethical with a firm commitment to customer satisfaction. Specific qualifications for the Automotive Detailer-Porter position include:

• Ability to work independently
• Basic automotive detailing/car washing experience
• Professional appearance and demeanor with customers and coworkers
• More advanced detailing experience i.e. wetsanding, etc. helpful, but not required - we will train the right candidate
• Valid driver's license
• Verifiable work history
• Ability to engage in physical work for extended periods
