The Equix team is built on pride in the workmanship and abilities of our crews. Our Core group of in-house welders have extensive knowledge and background in pipeline and fabrication welding. We have a current opening for a Pipeline Skilled Laborer with CDL. At Equix, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our services, which include: Pipeline Construction, Gas Distribution, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Facility Construction and Fabrication, and Trenching services.

Responsibilities:

  • Safe Operation of work vehicles used in underground installation of natural gas distribution piping, power, and telecom infrastructure construction
  • Take responsibility for quality work, proper care of assigned equipment
  • Responsible for transport of materials and equipment to and from job sites using commercial truck and trailer
  • Adhere to and promote DOT and company safety policies
  • Prepare construction sites as directed from the Foreman/Superintendent on the job
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL preferred
  • Valid Driver License with clean record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Traveling out of town to work on remote job sites when needed or directed by manager
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job
