Large managed care company is looking for a Health Advocate to manage the referrals process, processes incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations.

WORK LOCATION: FULLY REMOTE

PAY: $18.00

CONTRACT DATES: ASAP to 01/03/25

HOURS: Mon-Fri, 9:00 - 5:30 (40 hrs/wk)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative intake of members or managing the admission/discharge information
  • Calling members and medical offices, Home Health, and vendors
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Arranging transportation
  • Referring members programs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • Previous healthcare/customer service/telecom experience.
  • Medical Assistant or Nursing assistant certified preferred
