Job DescriptionJob DescriptionApplication Security EngineerLocation: Minneapolis, MN 55402, Atlanta, GA 30342, or Fort Worth, TX 76102Remote: Hybrid remote, 3 days in the office weekly Employees: 5,000 | Team Size: 80Industry: SaaS, FinTech, Payments | Financial Information: $2B+ in revenue for 2023Reports To: Director of Security Responsibilities:
  • Application security testing, security requirements, helping integrate security into SDLC
  • Collaborating with software + DevOps engineers to evaluate/operationalize security tools to be integrated into development environments and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborating with product managers, scrum masters, and application development to identify + inject security requirements into acceptance criteria of epics/stories
  • Providing subject matter expertise on secure coding practices, assisting in building and rolling out related guidelines/standards, performing manual source code reviews for high-risk components
  • Researching/monitoring emerging threats and vulnerabilities, understand current industry and technology trends and opportunities and assess their impact to applications
  • Participating in a review board to address false positives and provide application security governance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or cyber security
  • CISSP
  • 4 -6 years of experience with IT security
  • Application development security - Java, .NET, C#, SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle
  • Experience with static and dynamic applications security testing tools
  • Data analysis, metrics development, and reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of vulnerability and penetration testing technologies/techniques
  • Bonus points for PCSSLP and/or CASE certifications
