We're looking for a breakfast attendant with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience. You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning. This includes preparing hot foods and keeping the entire buffet line stocked. Additional responsibilities include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils. You are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and the breakfast room. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about customer service and has experience working in a food service role. $12 - $14 hourly

• Clear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner
• Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
• Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage

• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)

• Experience in food service is REQUIRED

The Lodge on Lake Oconee is a small, 80-room lakefront boutique hotel located in Eatonton, GA.

Please note that we will be completely renovating and re-branding this hotel in our transition to a mid to upper-scale boutique property.
