Job Description

As the Excursion Captain, you will be responsible for the daily operation of all organized excursion programs and special events with our guests.

  • Organize, coordinate, and lead adult and children’s excursions, ensuring adherence to brand standards throughout the planning, preparation, and execution process.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and execute special events with thorough preparation and active participation.
  • Collaborate with the Manager or Director to propose ideas and budgets for excursion and special event activities.
  • Maintain contact with vendors, local entertainment establishments and suppliers of activities related businesses.
  • Fill out daily log and tallies guest participation.
  • Handle money transactions and accounting procedures.
  • Provide support with guest sign-ups.
  • Create a vibrant, lively, and enjoyable environment for guests as they engage in board games and arts and crafts at our onsite Activities Center.
  • Working with leadership on industry trends for excursions and special events.
  • Maintain inventory of excursion or event items as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Some college preferred; or one to three years related program experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with sports, games, activities, and entertainment suitable for both adults and children.
  • Ability to work well with others, as well as independently.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license, free of any violations is mandatory.
