Salary:
Starting at $53,040.00
About the Position:
Develop a supportive relationship with clients and employees in the Adoption Conversion Program by ensuring quality delivery of services, timely documentation, and strengths-based supervision to designated team with the overall objective of achieving solutions that promote stability and permanency.
A Typical Day as an Adoption Supervisor:
- Provide oversight of the adoptive case management team
- Conduct group and individual supervision meetings to workers in multiple branch offices
- Participate on the adoption leadership team
- Maintain and supervise adoption records and documentation in accordance with agency, DCFS, and other state/federal policies
- Engage with families and clients by visiting them in a variety of settings to assess progress towards their goals.
Work Hours:
Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based on the availability of youth and families served. Hybrid work is available based on job duties.
Does the Following Apply to You?
- Master's degree in Social Work, Human Service, or related DCFS approved degree
- Child Welfare Experience (preferred)
- Child Welfare Licensure (preferred)
- Adoption Experience (preferred)
Additional Qualifications:
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain an insured vehicle
- At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
- Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training to obtain Child Welfare Licensure
