Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Radiologist, and Director of Imaging, performs all routine diagnostic and therapeutic mammography procedures, provides quality control measures, and produces quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
  • Collects pertinent data and documents procedures accurately.
  • Performs Digital Mammography exams
  • Assist physicians with procedures, as needed.
  • Perform quality control to state and government regulations.
  • Performs radiography exams as needed.
  • Participates in Performance Improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Certification and current registration for Registered Technologist (RT) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Must obtain registration for Mammography (M) from ARRT within one year of hire.
  • Must have current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
