Job Description

A 250 + bed Southern California Medical Center is actively seeking a Director Imaging and Radiology to join their growing healthcare organization.

The Interventional Radiology and Imaging Service Line Director reports to the Chief Operating Officer, while being supported by 2 Imaging Managers and is responsible for a staff of 125 FTE's.

The Imaging Service Line Director  is responsible for planning and directing of the Imaging Service Line which is comprised of: Radiology, CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound,  Mammography and Cardiac Cath Labs.


The Director of Interventional Radiology ensures diagnostic and therapeutic programs comply with all corporate and regulatory agency standards and procedures. The Radiology Director coordinates provision of Imaging Services with other medical functions and has overall responsibility for the technical aspect of radiological safety. 

The Director of Radiology will be responsible for monitoring patient satisfaction and maintaining all local, state and federal accreditation regulations.  The Director of Radiology will be responsible for all capital budgets, and purchasing of new equipment. 

Providing a broad range of advanced medical services and constantly striving to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community, this 300+ bed acute care medical facility’s offerings include Cardiology, Orthopedics, Maternal Child Health, Oncology and Diagnostic Imaging services as well as an extremely busy Emergency Department.
