The Inpatient Nurse Supervisor of Psychiatric Services will lead a supportive team on the weekend shift dedicated to improving the lives of those facing psychiatric challenges. A background in Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Nursing, as well as strong leadership will help earn a fast interview. The Psychiatric Services Nurse Supervisor will serve as a mentor and champion for the staff, supporting educational initiatives and opportunities to improve patient care. Simultaneously, this person will lead development and maintenance of the departmental budget, will oversee quality improvement initiatives, and will maintain proper regulatory compliance. The Inpatient Nurse Supervisor of Psychiatric Services reports directly to the CNO, and oversees the nursing department, managing 14+ FTEs during the weekend shifts when the CNO is absent.
