Our client in the Albany, NY area is seeking a Bridge Engineer that will be responsible for design and production of detailed structural drawings for a variety of bridge and road projects.

Salary Range: $30/hour ($62,400/year) - $55/hour ($114,400/year) depending on experience

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Design and production of detailed structural drawings for a variety of bridge and road projects.
  • Candidate should familiarize self with New York State Department of Transportation specifications
  • Research, understand, and apply the LDSA process for working with local municipalities
Qualifications:
  • EIT or NYS Professional Engineering license preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • B.S. Civil Engineering
  • Ability to design prestressed concrete or steel girder bridges according to NYS standards and codes
