Procurement Specialist - contingent worker

The contingent Procurement Specialist will...
  • Manage the requisition backlog and work with internal stakeholders for proper documentation
  • Convert requisitions to purchase orders
  • Request quotes from suppliers
  • Expedite purchase orders and resolve open purchase orders
  • Resolve invoice quantity and price issues in various spend categories
  • Support SAP data enrichment in various spend categories
  • Create PIR's (Purchasing Information Record) in SAP
  • Track any cost savings achieved
  • Support/Manage intercompany requisition to PO process in both SAP and legacy systems (if necessary)
  • All supplier and purchase order maintenance
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements for the contingent Procurement Specialist
  • Four-year degree in finance, supply chain, business or related field is required
  • Previous experience with SAP is required
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing organization
