Seeking a professional Phlebotomist with a minimum of one year of recent experience. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Spanish, proficient with straight needles, reliable, punctual, and possess strong communication skills.
The primary duties for this role include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data, updating patient information, and explaining the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection to patients. The candidate will also be responsible for matching laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, checking test requisitions for accuracy, packaging specimens for transport and storing them according to required temperature.
This position requires performing 30-50 blood draws per day.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Staten Island, New York.
Work Environment
This position is based in a Patient Service Center in Staten Island.
It is a one-person location operating from Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-12 pm and every Saturday, 8 am-12 pm.
** The role offers 26.5 working hours weekly with the possibility of staying until 4 pm one day to close up but it is not required.**
