Entry Level Controls Engineer
Job Summary
After learning Fori Automation’s product line, the selected candidate will be travel to customer sites to provide Service & Technical support including troubleshooting, repair, installation, maintenance, and training on various types of industrial automation equipment. Service & support activities will be performed both on-site at a customer’s facility or in-house at a company owned location.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
\t- Field service and commissioning support of industrial machinery.
\t - Assisting customer and local trades in troubleshooting equipment issues.
\t - Debug and servicing of electrical components.
\t - Perform end user training on equipment operation.
\t - Programming and Troubleshooting PLC based equipment.
\t - Programming and Troubleshooting HMI (Human Machine Interface) equipment.
\t - Writing new PLC and HMI applications per customer requirements.
Education & Experience
\t- Electrical Engineering Degree required. Mechatronics Degree programs considered.
\t - Knowledge or education in computer programming architectures such as VB, C / C++, or C#.
\t - Knowledge or education in electrical circuits, schematic reading, design, and troubleshooting.
\t - Mathematical skills in geometry and trigonometry.
\t - Strong Mechanical aptitude.
\t - Excellent analytical and communication skills.
\t - Microsoft Windows ™ Operating system and PC experience.
\t - Microsoft Office application experience such as Word and Excel.
\t - Travel required - approximately 70%
