Job Summary and QualificationsWe are looking for a Med Surg/Telemetry Nurse with a passion for delivering high quality and efficient care to join our team
As a Registered Nurse on the Med/Surg/Tele unit, you will work in partnership with the care team to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care to our patients. Our patient population includes individuals with both chronic conditions and acute illnesses. We care for those with cardiac, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, genitourinary conditions, as well patients who have just received surgery. This unit is perfect for those looking to expand their knowledge and build a strong foundation in nursing.
What you will do in this role:
· You will provide age appropriate excellent care to your patients based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the patient.
· You will be performing duties within the scope of your practice and function within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at our hospitals.
· You will work in inpatient acute setting.
Requirements:
· Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
· BSN preferred
· Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
· Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
· NIH certification or willingness to complete NIH certification upon hire.
