Our client, a leading supplier of technology and services is seeking a Commercial Buyer to join their team located in Fort Lauderdale, FL
The responsibilities and qualifications for this role include:
- Responsible for all procurement of materials within the assigned commodity.
- Support and lead negotiation topics for supplier relationships including commercial, risk management, legal, quality, price reduction, and delivery topics.
- Responsible for sourcing new components through RFQ preparation, tracking the status of offers, analyzing quotations, negotiating terms, and making supplier sourcing proposals aligned with FHP’s category strategy.
- Administer all contractual requirements with the assigned suppliers (purchase orders, pricing contracts, and other commercial agreements).
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other departments.
- Actively supports CIP efforts and supports achieving the departmental goals and objectives.
- Maintain all necessary items in the ERP system and archive important purchasing documents
