Reliable Nurse Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Roanoke, Virginia.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 48 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel
PCU RN (7 West)
3/25 or LATER start, 13 weeks
3x12 hour nights, 7p-7a
BLS and ACLS required
- Fast-paced work environment with an average of 5-10 discharges/admits daily
- Care for patients from outlying areas who seek specialty services
- Focus on acute and chronic management of heart failure patients presenting in crisis, acute cardiac events and illnesses, exacerbation of chronic cardiac disease.
- High acuity patients- IV medical management, hi-flow oxygen, impaired immobility due to venous congestion
- Manage patients post cardiac catheterization and/or cardioversion
Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
All travelers are expected to float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med Surg
Reliable Nurse Staffing Job ID #19. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
