Job Title: Autoclave Operator

Location: Long Beach

Pay: $20.00 to $27.00 (depending on experience) / Job Class: Temp-to-Hire

Summary: The Autoclave Operator is responsible for overall protection of multiple autoclaves. Requires attention to detail, focus on safety and excellent people skills in a team environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Follow all safety precautions when working with a pressure vessel and Nitrogen
  • Program autoclave cure profiles from written instructions
  • Loading vacuum bagged parts into autoclave with or or with forklift
  • Monitor cure for anomalies and make allowable adjustments as needed

Qualifications:

  • Meet ITAR Requirement
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, read Travelers and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, an understanding for drawing symbols, flag notes and general notes
  • Attention to detail and accuracy while working within a fast-paced production environment
