Job DescriptionDirt Cheap Distribution Center is currently hiring FULL-TIME SECURITY GUARD for its growing Distribution Center in Blue Mountain, Mississippi.

In the role of a Security Guard, you will work in a large distribution facility and be responsible for helping to protect assets and providing a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. If you are looking for a role that contributes to the entire distribution operation and allows you to protect some of Dirt Cheap most important assets, this could be the position for you

We are hiring for our 1st and 2nd Shifts
  • 1st Shift: 5:30 am to 2:30 pm
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11:30pm


Must be 21 years of age or older, physically fit, able to do walking, standing, and securing the premises eight hours a day.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence• Provide safe the secure environment• Monitor and authorize entrance of employees to the facility• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property.

Requirements

• Must have valid ID

• Physically fit enough to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift

• No experience needed; military, correction officers, or related fields experience preferred

• Must be able to pass security background checks

• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills

• High level of integrity and initiative

• Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work in an on-call capacity, sometimes working overtime as needed

Working Conditions:

• Working in moderate to loud noise levels•

• Walking in rain, snow, heat, or cold weather when walking the premises

Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Salary Description

$12.00-13.00 per hour
