Case load/# patients per day/consults per day \t3-4 denials a day per person, about 10 per day in department
EMR \tMitus, InterQual built into Epic
Do you require InterQual criteria or Milliman experience\t"InterQual highly preferred, Milliman is acceptable

Is this position for UR, discharge planning, or both?\tUR- appeals and denials, discharge summaries
What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Home Care, etc.)\tinpatient, observation and outpatient
Common types of patients & job duties\tMedical necessity appeals and denials, (from registration and all areas), scrubbing the files, communication with billing, follow ups- faxes, emails, sending records, claims on back end, peer to peers, letters, behavioral health, sending clinicals, discharge summarieWhat is your availability in the next 24-48 hrs for a potential interview with the unit manager?s, scheduling doctors, etc.
Experience or 'Must have' skills\t"UR experience for 1 year- does not only have to be in acute care setting
