Core Job Responsibilities (others may be added):
- Apply engineering expertise to perform Chiller Performance Modeling to solve system design and product application problems.
- Chiller System Performance, Reliability, and Quality, including component selection and interaction.
- Support sales order attainment by providing custom design modifications.
- Support field and factory system problem resolution.
- Lab validation
- Overnight travel (less than 10%).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 7 years of engineering work experience is required. Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred.
- Master's Degree in Engineering is a plus.
Essential Skills or Competencies:
- Understand HVAC system functions: refrigeration, heat transfer, airflow and ventilation.
- Proficient in problem solving with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply heat transfer and fluid flow concepts for real world problem solving.
- Ability to efficiently understand, condense, and organize information necessary to make engineering decisions along with having the ability to be coached and mentored by Senior employees.
- Design or application experience with HVAC products, thermodynamic computations, pressure vessel design, compressor, motor, controls, or heat transfer technologies and understanding of Data & Analytics, making data driven decisions and programming knowledge is a plus.

Salary Range: $82,000 to $148,500 annually
