Physical Therapist - PT - Acute

Experience success from day one as a Physical Therapist at a Dallas, TX hospital that will equip you to succeed Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent and strong acute care experience. This is a well-established hospital near Dallas and has a great therapy team in place. MORE ABOUT THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST POSITION:

  1. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
  2. Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
  3. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities, including range of motion, strength, balance, and functional mobility
  4. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, goals, and physician recommendations
  5. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
  6. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation interventions to improve patients' physical function
  7. Be a model of professionalism and compassion by serving as an ambassador to this organization

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST:

  1. Masters of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  2. Successful completion of the National Certification Examination
  3. 1 year of verifiable, supervised acute care experience within the last 3 years
  4. Must be eligible to work in the United States
  5. PT license in Texas
