Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator 1
Inova Health System’s Fairfax Hospital is looking for a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator 1 to join our Neuroscience team, supporting Stroke Research Clinical Trials. This role is full-time, M-F.

Responsibilities:
The Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator I (CRNC I) provides professional nursing care in the context of research study coordination and care. Acts as study coordinator for assigned studies and assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient’s physical, learning and psychosocial care. Coordinates clinical drug and device study protocols using diverse clinical assessment and administrative skills and knowledge, to ensure that the appropriate data is compiled and reported, protocol and regulatory requirements are met, and study participants follow correct steps. Conducts study protocols in accordance with sponsor requirements, FDA, state regulations and Inova policies and procedures. Provides appropriate clinical assessment of the study patients to provide quality care throughout the study and follow-up period. May participate in several different types of clinical studies (investigational products, study phases, therapeutic areas and indications). Ask your Recruiter for the full job description
Requirements:
- Hours: full-time, M-F
- Location: Inova Fairfax Medical Campus
- Education: Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree from an accredited school of nursing. If AD, must enroll in a BSN program and complete degree within 24 months of hire.
- Experience: One year of research training and/or protocol implementation as a RN
- Licensure/Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association; RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
