Experience:

• 24 months of RN First Assist experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license in hand at the time of application.

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Main OR – Operating Room RFNA for Davinci Robotics – Registered Nurse - Combined Circ/Scrub and RNFA role.

Schedule: 8/10/12 hour shifts. D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs. They cannot approve straight day shifts, travel pairs requiring the same schedule, or special requests. Any RTO not included on your application will NOT be considered.

No weekends, but will have evening call and rotating holiday requirements.

RNFA is a highly trained RN who must have both a CNOR certification and have completed an RNFA program which is offered through a college or university.

Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant course.

Davinci Experience Required

Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred

Robotic surgery experience preferred.

Proficient in perioperative nursing practice-preferred scrubbing and circulating experience.

Safe Medicate Exam- $10.00— Safe Medicate Exam- $10.00—The fee is $10 and is valid for 30 days. Regardless of practice setting or role, all nurses will complete the safeMedicate assessment during orientation. Password information will be provided at that time. Accepted method of payment: Credit Card ONLY (register online); ID Badge- $25.00 - Accepted method of payment: Cash, Check, or Credit Card; Mask Fit Test (IF APPLICABLE) - $60.00 - Accepted method of payment: Credit Card ONLY

Costs for 1st Day (Safe Medicate Exam, ID Badge, and Mask Fit Test) are reimbursable.

Parking is not provided - this will be an out-of-pocket expense. Parking Pass - Day 1- $6.00 (parking garage), By the month- $37.00, Per 13-week contract- $111.00 (only Credit Cards are accepted, as you will register online).

All candidate submissions are D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Every Other Weekend, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit. No straight day shifts, travel pairs requiring the same schedule, or special requests. Any RTO not included on your application will NOT be considered.
