Maintenance Mechanic Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

  • • Serve as a hands-on technical resource for resolving equipment problems affecting production and assist with diagnosing production problems

  • Help clean and maintain equipment in like-new conditions

  • Be the first responder (if available) to and correct all line breakdowns

  • Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment

  • Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems

  • Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance

  • Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location

Maintenance Mechanic Shift Info

  • Night Shift, 6:45 am to 6:45 pm

  • Monday - Sunday on a rotating schedule for days off

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

  • Maintenance Technician experience preferred

  • Minimum Require: 2 or more years of related work experience, or a technical degree related to maintenance or other related field, or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties

  • Accurately multiply, divide, add, and subtract whole numbers to resolve practical problems

  • Operate a computer—PC proficiency; use spreadsheets and reporting software effectively

  • Understand written instruction and complete appropriate documentation as directed.

  • Pay attention to details and pursue quality in accomplishing work duties and tasks. Look for opportunities to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.

  • Effectively communicate with co-workers, team members, and internal or external customers. Present information clearly and accurately

  • Use equipment, resources and time in an efficient and effective manner

  • Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in a timely manner and any warning signs of problems are not overlooked

  • Physical stamina to handle a full shift

  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

  • Able to pass a background check 

  • Able to work in the US
