Job Description

Kelly Science & Clinical is hiring multiple Manufacturing Technicians for a premier biotech company in  Lenexa, KS.  In this role you will play a critical role in producing animal health vaccines.  

Job Summary: As a Vaccine Production Technician, you will assist in tissue/viral cell culturing within a clean room cGMP laboratory environment. Using laboratory environment performing tasks such as tissue culture with roller bottle vessels, media preparation, and documentation.

    • Wednesday – Sunday 9am – 5:30pm
      \t\t
    • Wednesday – Sunday 5:30am – 2:00pm
      \t

  • Pay: $21/hr base with +$1/hr after gowning training, and +$2/hr on weekends
    \t
  • Career progression: Wage re-evaluated at 6 and 12 months for a 5% raise, and at 18 months for a 10% raise
    \t

Responsibilities: 




  • \t
  • Preparing growth medium for vaccine production.
    \t
  • Performing cell and viral culturing, which is harvested, batched, and filled into ampoules.
    \t
  • Conducting procedures under a Grade A Laminar Air Flow hood in a clean room setting.
    \t
  • Following aseptic techniques and documenting all procedures meticulously.
    \t
  • Collaborating closely with fellow technicians.


Qualifications:




  • \t
  • Education in a related field is preferred but not required.
    \t
  • Previous lab or clean room manufacturing experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
    \t
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
    \t
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring squatting, bending, twisting, and fine motor skills.
