Position Summary:

Examines patients with breathing-related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing.  Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient.  Performs physiotherapy and other treatments and teaches patients to use medications.

Reports to: Director Respiratory Care & Neurodiagnostic Services


Minimum Education
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy - RequiredDrag Edit DeleteRequired Skills

Certifications:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire.

ACLS & PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 12 months of employment, if not current upon hire

Licenses: Licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with ABG endorsement.
