\tSalary range: $59.46/hr - $88.39/hrQualificationsRequired:
\t* Possession of a MSN/BSN degree
\t* Possession of current California RN license
\t* Possession of BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
\t* Obtain and maintain palliative care certification (if not at time of hiring, within 1 year of hiring)
\t* Knowledge of the adult patient population and practice operations
\t* Knowledge of all aspects procedures and medication administration
\t* Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through for multiple patient treatments on an ongoing basis
\t* Excellent blood withdrawal and IV skills
\t* Knowledge and skill in Central line Catheters
\t* Knowledge to recognize abnormal laboratory values and report to Physicians
\t* Skill in usage of medical diagnostic equipment, as well as working knowledge of instruments and supplies required to perform necessary blood tests and procedures.
\t* Ability to accept direction from leadership and act promptly
\t* Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, peers, physicians, and administrators
\t* Skill in listening perceptively, conveying awareness and responding to patients and visitors with health concerns using tact and discretion
\t* Ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and general public in a high volume, clinical setting
\t* Skill in performing with frequent interruptions and/or distractions including the ability to accept equivocal circumstances and respond to changing priorities and deadlines
\t* Ability to maintain equanimity in the face of resistance, indifference, and hostility
\t* Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with sensitive and confidential information using discretion and judgment
\t* Working knowledge of the UCLA registration system, appointment scheduling system and order entry system
