Instead of bedside responsibilities, this person will support educational programs for the staff, will mentor young nurses who are just starting out, and will serve as a subject matter expert.

The Supervisor of Pediatric Nursing will also get to serve as hospital-wide leader through optional participation in committees for employee experience, patient satisfaction, and quality improvement. Working in collaboration with leaders in finance and operations, the Supervisor will also get to make significant impacts on improving the operational efficiencies of this unit.

Those who are new to the San Francisco Bay Area and those who’ve lived there for years, each discover the same thing: it has something for everyone No matter what direction you travel, great things await. A drive North will put the Inpatient Pediatrics Assistant Nurse Manager in the middle of California Wine Country, with all the beautiful vistas and multi-colored orchards. An hour west and you’re in the heart of San Francisco, where haute cuisine, world-class theater, and all manner of nightlife await. South and East take you to long hikes, large open skies, as many outdoor activities as you could want. Nearly anywhere you settle, you’ll find some of America’s top schools, a community of compassionate neighbors, and fantastic weather.

In addition to the support that comes with working at a reputable and progressive hospital, you’ll also find support from those above and below. As part of this trusted health care system, the Acute Pediatrics Nurse Supervisor will also find a generous benefits package and competitive compensation that includes annual bonus potential and merit increases, shift differential, and even sign-on and relocation incentives.
