About the Job:
  • Pay: $84.00 per hour
  • Shift Days: Monday-Friday (8 hour shifts)
  • Shift Times: Rotating start times at 6 am or 9 am
  • Duration: 13 weeks

Required:
  • 1-2 years of current experience in Endo/PACU/Pre/Post Op/Intra-Op 
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Active California RN License.
  • BLS AND ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Must have Upper and Lower GI experience such as  ESD,ERCP, EMR, Sigmoidoscopy, POEM, Colonoscopy, EUS - endoscopic Ultrasound and/or EGD.
  •  Able to assist in the “Tech” role of these advanced cases.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians during endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures, including cardiac, vital sign, and medication management.
  • Prepare incoming patients for surgery, including IV insertion, pre-operative oral and IV medication management, and obtaining surgery consent.
  • Assist and monitor patients during nerve blocks, requiring cardiac and vital sign monitoring and oxygen administration.
  • Assist patients in recovery in PACU, administering pain medications, monitoring vital signs, and preparing patients for discharge.
