BACKGROUND

Are you a self-starting sales professional who’s success-driven and interested in working remotely for a small but fast-growing company in an exciting industry? Do you wish to be well compensated for your success in brokering deals between environmentally-conscious industrial companies?

We are seeking a Sales Representative to develop and manage business relationships with industrial companies inside the USA. Our sales territory is the entire USA. He/she will leverage those relationships to broker deals between industrial companies of all sizes in need of external recycled plastic disposal services and those that wish to purchase recycled plastic materials.

This is a Cleveland, OH based company. Qualified candidates can work from any location within the USA -e.g. remote from Cleveland, OH. The position is home-based with occasional travel to customers and business meetings.

JOB DUTIES

The primary duties of the Sales Representative are to:

  • Set up plastics recycling programs with customer-companies wishing to sell scrap or obsolete plastic materials
  • Direct sales to customer-companies wishing to purchase recycled plastics
  • Manage “buyer” and “seller” call lists
  • Direct marketing and sales by phone, CRM, and/or through social media platforms
  • Track and report performance metrics, regularly

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The primary skills needed to perform this job to a high level include:

  • People, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Organizational skills – self-manages weekly/daily tasks and routines
  • Computer – grasps basic software including Microsoft Office, CRM, other
  • Industry knowledge – at minimum basic knowledge of industrial work environments, plastics, and logistics preferred
  • Sales skills – prior experience with and demonstrative aptitude with sales processes and tactics

SUCCESS MEASURES

Consistently meets or exceeds all of the following job performance metrics:

  • Number of meaningful connections with targeted companies/contacts
  • Number of active business relationships
  • Loads of recycled plastics bought/sold
  • $ Sales Revenue
  • $ Gross Profit and Gross Margin% earned
  • $ Commissions earned

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • Monthly draw for a minimum of 12 months, competitive with industry standards
  • Commission on Gross Profit generated on brokered purchases and sales, monthly**
  • Cell phone allowance
  • 401k plan, with match, after 12 months
  • Flexible work hours and home base
  • Travel expenses reimbursed

**expected monthly commission after 12 months is $10-15k
