MRI Tech

Plymouth, MA

M-F 7am - 3:30 PM

Position Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any "on-call” time worked

MUST HAVE MRI EXPERIENCE - MUST HAVE Client EXPERIENCE AND 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PREFERRED - Fast paced environment, must be able to work independently - COVID vaccine required + booster- Medical exemption acceptable Flu vaccine required - medical exemptions are acceptable Duties/Responsibilities: Proficient in venipuncture. Performs all technical and mechanical aspects of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, including positioning and technical factors, taking into account patients age, condition and ability to communicate., Assess and recognizes normal/abnormal anatomy/pathology, tailoring scope of exam as indicated. Reviews exams with Radiologist as necessary, contributing technical and professional knowledge. Displays knowledge of principles of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Responds appropriately to medical emergencies and displays ability to function effectively and appropriately in stressful situations. Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with patients, patient's families, staff, physicians and medical office personnel. Perform Point of Care Testing, Responsible for QA and maintenance on Point of Care equipment, Demonstrates knowledge of what constitutes appropriate clinical history for each MRI exam. Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required: Ability to work at a quick pace with minimal supervision. Ability to concentrate and prioritize in multi-task setting. Education Required: Graduate of accredited MRI program and/ or current R.T. (MRI) (ARRT) registration. Registration/Certification: R.T. (MR) (ARRT), MRI registration required, CPR certification. NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) NM to interview and offer Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE WORKED AT ANY BILH FACILITY WITHIN THE LAST YEAR - Perm, per diem or travel
