Job SummaryAs an Ultrasound Sonographer you would prepare patients, collect relevant information for completion of procedures, and perform sonographic exams following defined protocols. Throughout the procedure, you would be observant of patients’ conditions, and notify physician of unusual occurrences.
- Compile appropriate records to expedite results.
- You will analyze the quality of images and processes as required.
- Completes data sheet containing pertinent patient information following exam prior to forwarding to radiologist.
- Take call after regular hours to meet department needs.
What qualifications you will need:
- Two to three years’ experience (preferred) as Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two-plus years of experience in a hospital.
- ARDMS or ARRT Registered.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
Located in Derry, NH, Parkland Medical Center is a regional acute-care hospital offering 86 beds and a Level III Trauma Center. HCA Healthcare owns the facility, along with three other hospitals, two freestanding emergency rooms, an ambulatory surgery center, and an urgent care center in New Hampshire.
