Our client in the Life Sciences industry is seeking a Lab Assistant to join their team. As a Lab Assistant, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting critical laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a dynamic laboratory operation.

Job Title: Lab Assistant

Location: Terre Haute, IN

Pay: $16.50/ hour

What's the Job?

  • Process and clean glassware on a daily basis
  • Manage a clean and safe work environment
  • Monitor the laboratory's purified water system on a daily basis
  • Logging and receiving of laboratory samples and supplies as necessary
  • Cleaning and maintaining the laboratory inventory of supplies

What's Needed?

  • Must be motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic laboratory operation
  • Must be able to communicate with scientists in the laboratory effectively to ensure appropriate inventories of glassware are maintained
  • Two years minimum educational or work experience in the Life Sciences or related field preferred but not necessary
