Job Description

Cash Waggner is currently searching for a talented Professional Land Surveyor to join our team and lay the foundation for project success through accurate fieldwork, and detailed and precise documentation using the latest technologies and advanced equipment.

Duties/Responsibilites:

  • Collaborate with engineers and other land survey staff on civil and site development, transportation related design, and construction projects.
  • Work on projects such as streets, highway, airports, railroad, sewers, site development and more.
  • Manage and direct field crew activities.
  • Review boundary research and field surveys including route and property surveys, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and instruments used in computer aided drafting.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices and construction specifications, plans, and regulations related to construction.
  • Knowledge of industry specific safe workplace principles and practices.
  • Manage office functions economically and efficiently, organize work, establish priorities, and maintain good interpersonal relations and communications with staff and clients.
  • Could require local travel within 300-mile radius.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Education and Experience:

  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor
  • Licensure in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan preferred, or the ability to become licensed in those and other states as needed within 6 months of hire.
  • 3+ years experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel to various project sites.
  • Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas.
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors under various field conditions.

Salary and Hourly wages are based on experience.

Land Surveying
