Job Description

Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, is actively seeking a passionate occupational therapist to join our family and work with preschool students in the Bensalem and Newtown areas of Bucks County, PA beginning the summer session 7/5 to 8/1/24 4 days a week (M-Th) and then into the upcoming school year for 5 days a week. Travel paid between locations

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant

Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
Some travel may be required throughout the school day

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited OT/OTA educational program.
Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant License
Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
