Unit Information:   CV OR CST (70 3 ) Facility :   HCA FLORIDA NORTHWEST HOSPITAL Address:   2801 North State Road 7, Margate, FL 33063 Floor: 1 st floor Building: M ain Cost Center: 703 General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds: 2 rooms Number of Staff: 1 RN, 1   Techs, (2 RNs 1 tech on call) Type of Staff:   Day Shift: 1 RN, 1   Techs, Night Shift: n/a Patient Ratios: 1:1 Type of Equipment: Impella , ECMO, Bypass pump, Laser(lead extraction) EVH, Rapid Transfuser Documentation System: Meditech Call Requirements:    On-call is split and dependent on staffing Typical H iring P rofile   Must have : ( candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role ) BLS, 2 years current experience in acute OR setting. Certification not required Must be able to Scrub and be proficient in all service lines. Rotating weekends are a possibility.   List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):   Joint replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology   Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery and Plastic Surgery Additional Preferences : Can function in all surgical specialties other than CVOR (robotics, ortho , spine, GYN) proficient charting, multi-tasking, critical thinker, excellent bedside manner Dress Code : OR scrubs provided by the unit Awards/Recognition:   Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, etc.     228 bed Joint Commission and designated top performing hospital since 1980   Certified primary stroke center, Blue Distinction Stroke Center and specializing in surgical programs including Open Heart, 24 hour adult and pediatric ER, orthopedics, robotics, wom en’s services and rehabilitation
