Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow diagrams, blueprints, schematics, instructions, and operation manuals.
- Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
- Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed.
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
- Must be able to understand how to use testing equipment, such as a multimeter.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Performing general maintenance work on buildings as assigned.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. while also able to push or pull up to 80 lbs.
- Will be required to adhere to policies in place per company or federal guidelines.
- Will be required supply hand tools used while working that meet required regulations.
- Ability to work a continental schedule of 12-hour shifts, potential overnight scheduling, and possible required overtime.
- Perform any other duties, as assigned, to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of products, processes, and work environment.
Qualifications:
- Associates or technical degree, preferred. (CIT, INT, or EAT certification, recommended)
- 3 years of experience within industrial manufacturing maintenance, preferred.
- Prior Welding experience (preferred)
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Business System (or equivalent).
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to act competently in emergencies.
- Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience.
- Ability to follow manufacturer’s specifications and direction.
- Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
