Job Description

Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Vandalia, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

3+ Years of Experience - Required
Telemetry Experience (able to read telemetry strip and document on them) - Required
Care for cardiac, respiratory, gastrointestinal, ortho patients (knee and hip replacements), etc.
Ability to do body system assessments accurately, interpret vital signs, implement patient care plans, patient/family education, pass medications, oversee LPNs/CNAs that are under the RN direction
BLS & ACLS (AHA) - Required
IL RN License - Required
Competent in managing MedSurg/Telemetry type drips - Heparin, Cardizem, etc - Required
Knowledgeable of care for post-op knee replacement and post-op hip replacement care - Required

Genie Healthcare Job ID #50786DD. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
