Our client, a Section 8 Residential Housing Community, is seeking a Recertification Specialist to join their team.
As a Recertification Specialist, you will be part of the Administrative team supporting the Community Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Recertification Specialist/Admin
Location: Hamburg, NY
Pay Range: $20-$21, based on experience

What’s the Job?

  1. Manage and track HUD updates and notifications related to Section 8 compliance
  2. Handle resident recertifications, including verifications and documentation
  3. Utilize property management software to prepare and manage forms and reports
  4. Coordinate with the Community Manager and Corporate Office for compliance-related tasks
  5. Conduct file audits and ensure accurate record-keeping

What’s Needed?

  1. Experience with Section 8 housing certification or similar background
  2. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (experience with OneSite software is a plus)
